Dont judge a letter by its envelope

so for those of you that know me at all, know that i am severely technically challenged.....so this weblog is a huge step for me :) but so far so good....

Today i recieved a letter in the mail, it was in a pink envelope and it actually was addressed to the wrong address and someone had put it in my mailbox and handwritten the correct address on it.....so i thought "hey, this is weird, let me see what it is"....so i opened it and low and behold it was a bill disguised in a cute pink envelope :( ....so im thinking "what is this!?" and i investigate it further and realize it is not only a sneaky bill....it is 2 years old....and it has just found its way to my mailbox! So the story....about 2 years ago, i went on a roadtrip to Maine...i just had always wanted to go there, so I went by myself all the way from Atlanta to Maine in a big white truck....and i stayed in Boston for 2 days and parked at a parking meter.....well who woulda thought that they would track me down 2 years later and send me a bill for being at the meter 10 minutes after it wasnt free anymore.....honestly! who does this? what a terrible job! to track parking tickets down no matter how long it takes.....i just keep picturing this poor little person who has to do all this research across state borders to track down wayward travelers and make them pay way too much for their stay in the city.......fortunately, it was a great trip so it was worth it...

So my lesson for the day.......Dont judge a letter by its envelope.
